It was such an honour to be asked to do the mural artwork for the Southern Poverty Law Centre HQ in Montgomery, Alabama.
The SPLC are a legal advocacy organisation specialising in civil rights and with a staff of over 100 lawyers and advocates deal with public interest litigation.
Each of the letters had to illustrate one of the four SPLC impact areas:
Eradicating poverty.
Decriminalising and decarcerating black & brown people.
Protecting voting rights and civic engagement.
Dismantling white nationalism and protecting democracy.
